Please double check that both of you have had your KYC approved. The bonus is done automatically. If the referral code was used correctly and both of you have passed your KYC it will be allocated within the next few hours from both of you passing your KYC.
If it has still not been allocated after this, then it is most likely one of the users made an error when using it during sign up.
