The ETH Edge Challenge – Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
By participating in The ETH Edge Challenge (the "Campaign"), organised by Tap Global Limited ("Tap" or the "Promoter"), each participant agrees to be fully bound by these Terms and Conditions. All decisions made by the Promoter in relation to the Campaign are final and binding in all respects.
2. Eligibility
The Campaign is open to individuals who:
- Are legal residents of countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) or the European Union (EU) where Tap offers its services.
- Have completed identity verification and all onboarding procedures required by Tap before the end of the Campaign Period.
Residents of the United Kingdom (excluding those residing in the Isle of Man) are not eligible to participate. Tap reserves the right to disqualify any participant who does not meet the eligibility criteria, as determined solely by Tap.
3. Campaign Period
The Campaign begins on 23 April 2025 at 08:00 UTC and ends on 06 May 2025 at 08:00 UTC. Activity outside this period will not be considered/
4. How to Participate
To participate:
Log in to or create a Tap account.
Buy or deposit ETH during the Campaign Period.
Your Net ETH Buy score will be calculated as follows: ETH Buys + ETH Deposits – ETH Sells – ETH Withdrawals
The top 100 participants with the highest Net ETH Buy scores by the end of the Campaign Period will qualify to receive a reward.
5. Rewards
Each of the top 100 eligible participants will receive a reward of $25 (USD) worth of ETH (the "Reward").
Rewards will be credited to users' Tap accounts within 45 days after the Campaign ends.
The ETH/USD exchange rate used for reward distribution will be determined at Tap's sole discretion at the time of processing.
Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash or other alternatives.
Participants are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from receipt of a reward.
6. Ranking and Tie-Breakers
In the event of a tie in Net ETH Buy scores, the participant who achieved the score earlier (based on transaction timestamps) will be ranked higher.
Ranking will be determined solely by Tap based on data available on the Tap platform.
7. Notification
Winners will be notified via the contact information provided during registration. Participants are responsible for keeping their contact details accurate and up to date.
8. General Conditions
Tap reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at any time, with or without notice, at its sole discretion.
Tap is not responsible for technical issues, errors, or unauthorized interventions that may affect the integrity of the Campaign.
Any attempt to manipulate the Campaign or violate its terms will result in disqualification and may lead to legal action.
9. Privacy
By participating, users consent to the collection and processing of their personal data as outlined in Tap’s Privacy Policy: https://www.withtap.com/legals/privacy-policy. Personal data will be used solely for:
- Assessing eligibility and ranking
- Identity verification
- Reward distribution
No personal data will be shared with third parties without explicit consent, unless required by law.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar. Participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gibraltar in connection with any disputes arising from the Campaign.
11. Disclaimer
The Campaign is void where prohibited by law. Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Nothing in these Terms constitutes financial advice, an endorsement, or a solicitation to invest in, purchase, or sell any digital asset. Cryptocurrency trading involves risk. Participants should seek independent financial advice if needed.
